Description
VB36 “FLAME FIRESCREEN” Set of 12 Fireplace Tiles – Reproduction Victorian Style Design
These loose tiles make up a picture of a flaming coal fire, probably for use as a firescreen if they were mounted onto a board and framed.
Or they could be used to dress the wall inside a non-working fireplace.
So the item is 12 loose tiles (6″ x 6″ square) of which 9 are embossed with the remaining 3 being plain dark green.
All the tiles have a slightly crazed glazed finish to replicate the finish found on original old fireplace tiles, but these are reproduction, probably in the region of 10-20 years old – NOT Victorian….
The tiles are BNIB – only taken from their slightly manky boxes for a swipe over with a damp cloth and to be set up and photographed. They have never been fitted or used, the backs have no sign of adhesive or plaster on them.
Our Buy It Now price is now reflecting our desire to clear these quirky tiles from our shelves
One Panel only – we cannot get any more like this again….as far as we know this design is no longer being manufactured.
Sizes: Each tile measures 6″ x 6″ (152mm) square x 7mm thick
We are a long established fireplace shop, with thousands of original and reproduction fireplaces in stock, feel free to visit us to discuss your requirements.
