Offered for sale is a pair of decorative steel gates featuring vertical lower bars with a curly diamond lozenge shape upper design. It is worth opting that these gates are assymetric, ie the left one is larger than the right as you view the photos. Previously enjoyed in green….
In generally good condition, they would definitely benefit from a good wire brushing and a new coat of paint. There is a central handle on one gate, and a drop bolt on the other, the handle & bolt are stiff but useable.
Please look at the photos carefully to ascertain the condition of the gates, as they form a vital part of the description.
No additional hardware comes with the gates, only what is shown in the photos. Most DIY or hardware shops can provide fixing kits for gates, or a local foundry could make up whatever fittings you require to use the gates in your particular scenario.
The size suggests a possible use as driveway gates, but some of our clients have used gates like these to make a backdrop for climbing plants or make a feature against a plain wall.
