39″ “BOWDON” ORIGINAL UNRESTORED SINGLE GARDEN GATE G44
Ref – JD3010 19/G44 – 39” Wide
A decorative steel gate featuring a scrolled pattern interspersed with plain vertical bars and a flat top. It is currently finished in an attractive black with rusty highlights.
In generally good condition, it would definitely benefit from a good wire brushing and a new coat of paint.
There is no handle on the gate, but a fairly stiff drop bolt.
Please look at the photos carefully to ascertain the condition of the gate, as they form a vital part of the description.
No additional hardware comes with the gate, only what is shown in the photos. Most DIY or hardware shops can provide fixing kits for gates, or a local foundry could make up whatever fittings you require to use the gates in your particular scenario.
The size suggests a possible use as pathway or garden gate, but some of our clients have used gates like these to make a backdrop for climbing plants or make a feature against a plain wall.
