Offered for sale is a pair of decorative steel gates featuring vertical bars with curly details top and bottom of each gate.<\/p>\n
Previous owners have added a keep clear sign – which is easily removable by the new purchasers.<\/p>\n
In generally good condition, they would definitely benefit from a good wire brushing and a new coat of paint. The main visible damage is to the curly top motif on the RH gate, where it has been squashed down, pretty sure a handy DIYer could straighten out quite easily.<\/p>\n
There is a central handle on one gate, which is solid so would need to be freed up.<\/p>\n
Please look at the photos carefully to ascertain the condition of the gates, as they form a vital part of the description.<\/p>\n
No additional hardware comes with the gates, only what is shown in the photos. Most DIY or hardware shops can provide fixing kits for gates, or a local foundry could make up whatever fittings you require to use the gates in your particular scenario.<\/p>\n
The size suggests a possible use as driveway gates, but some of our clients have used gates like these to make a backdrop for climbing plants or make a feature against a plain wall.<\/p>\n
