This interesting item is the only one we have seen like it in over 50 years of dealing in cast iron fireplaces, so it is definitely unusual and rare.<\/p>\n

The item consists of 6 pieces of cast iron that slot together to make the fireplace trim as shown in the photos – there is no firebrick \/ back \/ grate<\/p>\n

Overall sizes – 550mm \/ 21 3\/4″ high x 550mm \/ 21 3\/4″ wide<\/p>\n

It measures 400mm \/ 15 3\/4″ deep of which 250mm \/ 9 3\/4″ protrudes into the room and 150mm \/ 6″ goes back into the fireplace opening.<\/p>\n
