“THE CADEBY ”\u00a0<\/strong>Vintage\u00a0Oak\u00a0\u00a0Original 1920’s\/1930’s\u00a0Fireplace Fender Z7 <\/strong><\/p>\n

This original fender is solid oak with a metal cladding on the inside face giving better heat resistance – offered unrestored as seen<\/p>\n

Features a Plain curb with a nice moulding around the base and an arched centre section with mitred corners.<\/p>\n

I have photographed it from various angles and included a shot of the back so you can get a feel of the style and condition<\/p>\n

Sizes –<\/p>\n

Internal Sizes – 39″\/990mm Wide x 11″\/280mm Deep<\/p>\n

External Sizes – 42″\/1070mm x 12.5″\/322mm Deep<\/p>\n

The Curb is approx 4″ high with the centre approx 5.5″ high.<\/p>\n

Condition is good for its age, would benefit from having the corners tightened as the mitres are opening up a little, but useable as it is.<\/p>\n

Similarly the metal cladding is a little loose in places and could do with a few more tacks to hold it securely in place….<\/p>\n

This is a quite a large item, needs a hatchback\/estate or van to collect.<\/p>\n

If we were to send this to a local french polisher we would expect it to fetch about \u00a3300 restored.
