A decorative heavy steel gate featuring plain square vertical bars with circle motifs on the corners and top finial. It is currently finished in an attractive rust with cream highlights. It has the nameplate “Lindoe” attached to it, but this is easily removed if not required.
In generally good condition, it would definitely benefit from a good wire brushing and a new coat of paint.
There is a handle on the gate, it is stiff but useable.
Please look at the photos carefully to ascertain the condition of the gate, as they form a vital part of the description.
No additional hardware comes with the gate, only what is shown in the photos. Most DIY or hardware shops can provide fixing kits for gates, or a local foundry could make up whatever fittings you require to use the gates in your particular scenario.
The size suggests a possible use as pathway or garden gate, but some of our clients have used gates like these to make a backdrop for climbing plants or make a feature against a plain wall.
