ORIGINAL UNRESTORED PAIR OF GARDEN GATES G14 – “TURTON” 86″ WIDE
JD3011 19/G14 – 86” Wide / Pair
A pair of decorative steel gates featuring a scroll pattern alternated with twisted vertical bars.
In generally good condition, they are useable as they stand but they would definitely benefit from a good wire brushing and a new coat of paint. The bottoms of the gates have more rust on them than the tops. The left hand gate (in the pics) also has been bent a little on the side where the gates close together, so this will need to be straightened.
Please look at the photos carefully to ascertain the condition of the gates, as they form a vital part of the description.
There is a central handle on one gate, and a drop bolt on the other, they would need to be freed up before use.
No additional hardware comes with the gates, only what is shown in the photos. Most DIY or hardware shops can provide fixing kits for gates, or a local foundry could make up whatever fittings you require to use the gates in your particular scenario.
The size suggests a possible use as driveway gates, but some of our clients have used gates like these to make a backdrop for climbing plants or make a feature against a plain wall.Measurements – All measurements are approximate +/- 1/2″
