Original 1920’s Period Stainless Steel Trim Fascia Fireplace Front – Excellent condition
This heavy duty stainless steel wrapped iron panel is incredibly rare and would have been prohibitively expensive when it was made in the 1920-30’s when stainless steel was first used in this way.
Features a beautifully moulded border pattern with cross motifs and beading, it is flat on the back – see photos
I have photographed it from various angles and included a shot of the back as well as some close ups of the detail.
There is no back, grate or front bars included, no other bits came in with this item, you are buying what you see in the photos.
Whilst I would describe as in outstanding condition for its age, there are a few very minor marks and surface imperfections on it, although they have refused to show up in the photos, we would urge any potential purchasers to come and view this item for themselves before placing a bid.
A very unusual item, we have never seen another trim like this before in over 50 years of trading.
